If you need different access rights for different departments, you can set the department access rights under Maintain User Group. Go to Tools. Select Maintain User Group. Click New. Fill in the Code and Name for the Department.

This guide shows you how to create a new user ID and also set the user password in SQL Account. Go to Tools. 1. Select Maintain User. 2. Click New. 3. Fill in the Code and Name (User 4. (Optional) Select which User Group does the new user belong to. 5. Click on More. 6. Select Change Password. 7. Type in the user password (Alphanumeric applicable). 8. Press Ok. 9. Press Save (New User Created). #TIPS: If the user no longer working with the company, you can deactivate the user ID by unchecking the Active button.

Go to General Ledger. 1. Select Journal Entry. 2. Click New. 3. Enter the double entry for recording depreciation (Refer below snapshot). 4. Click Save. It's recommended to record this journal every month. Don't worry, you can do it easily with this simple copy paste feature in SQL Account. 1. Open one of the monthly depreciation journal entry. 2. Right click on the Journal Entry header. 3. Select Copy Journal Entry. 4. Click New. 5. Right click on the Journal Entry header. 6. Select Paste Journal Entry. 7. Edit the date, description and amount > Click Save.
